WHAT TO EXPECT:

The Celebration of Giving program connects families in need to gifts and supplies to bring the spirit of Christmas into their homes. Volunteers can participate by registering families, sorting, and distributing gifts. Groups and individuals are welcome to engage at a variety of levels to ensure that all children in Chicago receive a meaningful gift this Christmas season.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:

Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety for sorting and distributing gifts. Volunteers will lift and move boxes upwards of 20 lbs. in weight. Free parking for volunteers is available depending on location.

LOCATIONS:

St. Vincent Center (downtown Chicago) - 721 N LaSalle, Chicago
Cardinal Bernadin Center (Lake County) - 671 S Lewis, Waukega

GROUPS:

Corporate and organizational groups, parishes and churches, and schools are welcome to serve in the Celebration of Giving. To schedule your group, please contact us volunteer@catholiccharities.net.
