WHAT TO EXPECT:

After Supper Visions provides an opportunity for Catholic Charities community meal guests to participate in a photography project where they learn basic photography skills, receive a camera and guidance on capturing images, and edit and showcase their works in a public exhibit. The program provides an opportunity for the artists to build confidence and acumen in their artistry. Proceeds of their sold works go directly to the participants. Volunteers serve as instructors and aids and support the artists through the project.

Photography Partner

Volunteers work closely with the program participants, one-on-one or in small groups to share and reflect on the images taken. Interpersonal and administrative skills are needed to interact with the artists on a personal level and assist in the administration of the program. Volunteers with photography or art backgrounds can further help instruct the artists and assist with editing. 

  • One-on-one support to assist artists in self-analyzing their work.
  • Engaging in coversation with artists to deepen awareness of their approach, viewpoint, and inspiration.

Free parking for volunteers is available depending on location. 

AGE RESTRICTIONS:

The minimum age is 18 years old.
